ALMA LYCANS WALKER, 78, of Proctorville, OH, died
Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Friday, October 24, 2008, at
Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Minister Earl Slack
officiating. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville.
Alma was born September 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Irvin and
Ruby Brown Lycans. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, Franklin Walker, Jr.; and one sister,
Helen Spears. Alma is survived by one daughter, Sherry Runyon
of South Point, OH; two sons, Irvin Franklin Walker of Proctorville,
OH, and Roger Walker of South Point, OH; nine grandchildren;
and nine great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM
Thursday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
