BILLIE JEAN JONES, 53, of Chesapeake, OH, went to be with
the Lord Sunday, May 11, 2008, in Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Billie was born June 10, 1954, in Lincoln Co., WV, a daughter of
Minnie Triplett Parsons of Chesapeake, OH, and the late Sesco
Parsons. She was the Director of Medical Records at River’s
Bend Health Care and a member of Bride of Christ Church. In
addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her
grandmother, Mildred Marie Adkins. Billie is survived by her
mother; her husband, Gary Jones; five children and their spouses,
Gary A. (Misty) Jones, Jr., Matthew Jones, Daniel Jones and
Amanda Nance, Nikki (Billy) LeGrand, and P.J. (Amanda) Jones;
nine grandchildren, Evan Allen Jones, Leslie Lorene Jones, Hunter
Alen LeGrand, Joshua Mikel LeGrand, Colton Lee Ray Jones,
Caitlyn Rae Jones, Dakota Corns, Ethan King, and Owen King;
two brothers, Edward and Robert Parsons; two sisters, Pamela
Mullins and Glenna Locke; and several nieces and nephews. At
Billie’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will
be held 2 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at Schneider-Griffin
Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Parsons officiating. In lieu of
flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National
Diabetes Foundation. Condolences may be expressed at www.
