CHARLES W. SMOOT, 63, of Proctorville, Ohio, died Monday
April 21, 2008, in St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will
be 11:00 AM Saturday April 26, 2008, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral
Home with Rev. Harold Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow in
Highland Memorial Gardens. Charles was born September 17,
1944, in Rome, Ohio, a son of the late Pat and Louise Boggs
Smoot. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his
wife Juanita, and a brother, Gene Smoot. Charles is survived by a
son, Charles W Smoot Jr. of Proctorville, OH; two daughters,
Susan Smoot of Proctorville, and Tammy Smith, of Chesapeake,
OH; two grandchildren, Thomas and Tiffany Smoot; 4 sisters,
Carol Williamson of Proctorville, OH, Linda Smoot of Miami, FL,
Donna Plybon of Chesapeake, OH, Pam Nicholes of Proctorville,
OH; and 2 brothers, Ronald Smoot of Chesapeake, OH, and
Donald Smoot of South Point, OH. Friends may call from 6-8 PM
Friday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake.
