Charles E. Wright 1923 - 2008

CHARLES EVERETT WRIGHT, 85, of Columbus, OH, formerly
of South Point, OH, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, May 29, 2008, at
Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Wagner
officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens,
South Point. Charles was born February 26, 1923, in Franklin
Furnace, OH, the youngest son of Charles and Nora Clark
Wright. He was raised in Minford, OH, employed by Allied
Chemical for 32 years as an electrician, a member of South Point
United Methodist Church, a Word War II veteran, past master
Mason, and served as a South Point City Councilman for four
years. He was well known for his gentle spirit and sweet nature.
In addition to his parents, brothers, and sisters, he was preceded in
death by his wife of 55 years, Billie Pauline Pace Wright. Charles
is survived by three daughters, Ann (Charley) Hager of Columbus,
OH, Donna (Randy) Craddock of Crestwood, KY, and Karen
Wright of Orlando, FL, and special family friend, Wade Martin of
South Point, OH; six grandchildren, Mark (Melinda) Cain of
Columbus, OH, Jennifer Napier of Proctorville, OH, Candace
(Dylan) Greenwood of Louisville, KY, Nic Craddock of Louisville,
KY, Shane (Rhoda) Cain of Columbus, OH, and Miss Kaitlin
Amlin of Columbus, OH; and eight great grandchildren. He is
already sadly missed by his family. Friends may call from 6 to 8
PM Wednesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake,
