IRENE V. SMITH, 88, of Ironton, OH, formerly of Bristol, VA,
died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Jo-Lin Nursing Home in Ironton,
OH. Services will be Saturday May 10, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the
Mountain View Cemetery Mausoleum in Bristol, VA. Entombment
will follow. Irene was born March 1, 1920, a daughter of the late
John V. Holton. In addition to her father, she was preceded in
death by two sisters, Ruth Lavern Holton and Johnnie Mae
Holton; and one brother, Thomas Holton. Irene is survived by her
husband, Ralph H. Smith of Bristol, VA; and two half brothers,
James and Charles Holton. Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home,
Chesapeake, OH, is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may
