JACOB “BIG JAKE” THACKER, 6, of South Point, OH, went
home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at
home. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, November 30,
2009, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Aaron
Childers officiating. Burial will follow in McSweeney Family
Cemetery. Jake was born October 31, 2003, in Huntington, WV, a
son of Jonathan and Stacey McSweeney Thacker. He was a
member of Solida Missionary Baptist Church, attended A Time to
Grow Daycare for 4 ½ years, and attended Early Childhood
Center for one week. Jake loved life and made an impression with
every person that he had come in contact. In addition to his
parents, he is survived by one brother, Wyatt Thacker; his
paternal grandparents, Jim and Penny Thacker; his maternal
grandparents, Joe and Patsy McSweeney; and numerous extended
family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at
Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake. In lieu of flowers,
please make contributions in Jake’s honor towards the Cabell
