JOHN T. RICKARD, 80, of Chesapeake, OH, died Tuesday, March 2,
2010, at his residence. Funeral services will be 11 AM Saturday, March
6, 2010, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Ross
officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point.
John was born May 28, 1929, in Mason County, WV, a son of the late
Thomas C. and Dorothy Ruth Ross Rickard. He was a retired
accountant with ACF Industries, a US Army Veteran, and an avid
supporter of Marshall University. In addition to his parents, he was
preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Robert Rickard; and one
sister, Dorothy Inghram. John is survived by one brother, James F.
Rickard; one sister, Betty Rickard; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM Friday, March 5, 2010, at
Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake. Pallbearers will be Zane
Rickard, Jay Rickard, Tex Rickard, Nate DeLong, Jimmy DeLong, and
