LEONA “FERNE” KITE SUTTON, 94, of South Point, OH,
passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. Funeral services will be 12
noon Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home
with Rev Brian Malott officiating. Burial will follow in Rome
Cemetery. She was born August 18, 1915. She was the oldest
living member of Sunrise church of the Nazarene, South Point, OH.
She was a member of Garden Clubs and Homemakers of South
Point and Lawrence County. She was preceded in death by
husband, Russell “Bus” Kite and husband, Sterling Sutton. She is
survived by one sister, Rosalee Waugh; son and daughter-in-law,
Clayton and Janie Kite; three daughters and son-in-laws, Nancy
and Charlie Sprouse, Donna and Rob Davidson and Dolores and
Tom Gillenwater; 8 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 4
great-great grandchildren. Friends may call from 11-12 noon
