MARTHA BELLE SPEARS, 86, of Chesapeake, OH died
Thursday, February 04, 2010, at Heartland of Riverview, South
Point, OH. Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, February 8,
2010, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Flannery
officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Godby
Heights, WV. Martha was born April 24, 1923 in Boone County,
WV, a daughter of the late William and Lucy Taylor Webb. In
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Warren Cabell Spears; two brothers, James and Wilburt Webb;
one sister, Opal Webb Todd; and step-father, Jay Thompson. She
was a member of Defender Methodist Church. Martha is survived
by one sister, Minnie May Webb of South Point, OH; three nieces,
Telithia Lincecum of Louisiana, Susan (Daniel) Brady of
Chespeake and Joyce (Richard) Coakley; three nephews, Wilburt
(Bonnie) Webb, Danny Webb and James Gary (Rosie) Webb;
great niece, Melissa (Randy) O’Donnell (Allanah); and two great
nephews, William (Amy) Brady (Samantha and Paden) and Joseph
Brady. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Heartland
of Riverview and Hospice of Heartland, Dr. David Apgar for his
