MARY CATHERINE MCFANN, 83, of South Point, OH, went to
be with the Lord, Thursday, February 11, 2010, in Cabell
Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Monday,
February 15, 2010, at South Point United Methodist Church with
Rev. Terry Washburn officiating. Burial will follow in Highland
Memorial Gardens, South Point. Mary was born March 3, 1926, in
Covington, KY. She was a graduate of Ironton High School in 1945
and a member of South Point United Methodist Church since 1966.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Pearly and Anna
Thompson; her husband, Richard Eugene McFann; and her sister,
Owedia Cleary. She is survived by her son, Kevin McFann; her
nephew, Michael Cleary; a special companion, Elba “Jr” Eaves;
her church family, and her special friends, the Chuck Conley
family, Pete and Helen Boggs, Cecil Daniels, Mary Wise, and
Douglas and Catherine Price. Friends may call from 11 AM to 12
