RUTH HEATH, 91, of South Point, OH, died Wednesday, October
28, 2009, in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be
11 AM Tuesday, November 3, 2009, at Schneider-Griffin Funeral
Home with Pastor Scott Mann officiating. Ruth was born
September 9, 1918, in Ashland, AL, a daughter of the late Arthur
and Mamie Johnson Hunter. She worked as a matron for Marshall
University for 12 years. In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by one daughter, Mamie Lackey; one sister,
Kennedy Kirksey; and one brother, Becautious Hunter. Ruth is
survived by one daughter, Lucy Leigh of Southfield, MI; five
grandchildren, Dennis Hurd, Danny Conwell, Dane Conwell,
Korwin Leigh, and Kelly Leigh; 10 great grandchildren; 11 great
great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends
may call from 10:30 AM to 11 AM Tuesday at Schneider-Griffin
