SEAN OZZIE SIMPKINS, 56, recently retired from the U.S.
Postal Service passed away in South Point, OH. Funeral service
will be 1:30 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009, at
Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elmwood
Cemetery, Wayne. He was born September 28, 1953, in Bowling
Green, OH, a son of the late Dr. O. Norman Simpkins and Dr.
Katherine W. Simpkins. Sean was in the United States Army and
received a Russian Language specialty from the U.S. Army
Monterey Language School (California). He attended Goshen
College (Indiana) receiving a B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College
in Cleveland, OH and an M.A. from Marshall University. Sean is
survived by one daughter, Dariya Simpkins; his mother; ex-wife,
Irina Simpkins; one sister, Dr. Karen Simpkins; and one aunt,
