Thelma C. Wood 1916 - 2008
THELMA C. WOOD, 92, of Huntington, WV, went to be with the
Lord Wednesday May 14, 2008. Services will be 2 PM Friday May
16, 2008 at A.M.E. Methodist Church in Huntington with Rev.
Angela Walker.  Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Thelma
was born March 5, 1916, in Williamson, WV, a daughter of the late
John and Sadie Cecil. In addition to her parents, she was preceded
in death by her husband, William L Wood, Sr.; daughter, Loyzelle
Jackson; son, William Lawrence Wood Jr.; and grandson, Bryan
Wood. Thelma is survived by grand-daughters, LoWanna Jarrett
and Linda Jackson both of Huntington, WV, and Letitia (Ed) Hogan
of Columbus, OH; grandson, Michael (Mitzi) Wood of San Antonio,
Texas; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Wood of Louisville, KY; great
grandchildren, Robert, Randall, and Reginald Jarrett and Kurt
Grayson all of Columbus, OH, Bryan Wood Jr. of Louisville, KY,
Kayla Wood of San Antonio, TX; special nephews, William
E.(Evonne) Robinson and Christopher (April) Wilson all of Flint
MI; and many nieces and nephews.  Friends may call Friday May
16, 2008 from 1-2 PM at A.M.E. Methodist Church. Please send all
